Acceptable use policy
What can't be sold or done on Sooquna.
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Prohibited products
You may not sell anything that is illegal where you or your customers are, including weapons and explosives, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, tobacco and alcohol where they are restricted, prescription medicines without the required licence, stolen goods, adult content, gambling services, and any product or service that breaks the laws of the State of Qatar.
Counterfeit goods
You may not sell counterfeit or replica goods, or use other people's trademarks, images or content without permission. We act on valid notices from rights holders and may remove listings or close stores that repeatedly infringe.
Fraud and phishing
You may not use Sooquna to deceive people: no fake stores, misleading prices or descriptions, orders you don't intend to fulfil, collecting payment or sign-in details under false pretences, or sending spam through emails or WhatsApp.
Chargebacks and disputes
You must deliver what you sell, describe it honestly, and handle refunds and complaints fairly. A store with an unusually high rate of chargebacks, disputes or customer complaints may be reviewed and limited while we look into it.
Enforcement
If a store breaks this policy, we may remove content, limit features, suspend or close the store. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you what is wrong and give you a chance to fix it first. To report a store, email [email protected].
